Sellick Park is genuinely delightful — a widespread, cheerful playground with personality baked into every corner. Rolling walls with overhangs for toddlers to hide underneath, a cute dinosaur ride on toy, sensory panels, and a layout that feels thoughtfully designed rather than just equipment dropped in a field. Toddlers will be completely in their element here.
The surrounding park is equally lovely — a huge rolling grassy field practically begging for a game of chase, picnic tables next to playground for relaxed supervision, and a stunning hilltop view of the city that makes the whole visit feel a little elevated. Literally.
The bathroom is a bait and switch - gorgeous on the outside, aggressively functional on the inside. A genuine plot twist.
A wonderful, character filled park well worth the visit.
