San Bruno Point Park skips the playground entirely and delivers something different — a genuinely lovely walking trail with beautiful views that makes for a peaceful, unhurried family outing. Perfect for joggers, dog walkers, stroller pushes, and toddlers on bikes who just need open space and fresh air.
The plane spotting overhead is a genuine highlight — sitting right under the SFO flight path means a constant parade of aircraft that curious kids find endlessly captivating.
One important heads up: the inviting amenities across the street belong to Genentech and are not available to the public. No public bathrooms on-site, so plan accordingly before heading out. Non reservable picnic tables are available further down the path.
A peaceful, scenic trail worth the visit.
