I laughed out loud when I saw this park. Francisco Tot Lot is a humbling reminder that not all parks are created equal. Located on a roaring busy street with zero parking — unless you're willing to take your chances in the Bimbo Bakery lot and live with the consequences — getting here is already an adventure in questionable decision-making.
The playground itself delivers one swing, a couple of rocks to hide behind, and a spinner. That's it. The other half of this long, narrow strip is an outdoor gym, which is lovely if you came to exercise and deeply disappointing if you brought children.
The one genuine saving grace: Centennial Park and its actual playground and trails are nearby, which is where you should have gone in the first place.
One out of five. Bless.
