The only reason why I’m not at this kids museum every other weekend, is because I live in the neighborhood furthest away from this amazing place. The museum has something for a kid of every age, but skews slightly younger (1-7 year olds, easily). You get a sand pit with view of the city and the bridge for mom and dad, a wood workshop, a static train structure, two HUGE playgrounds for bigger kids (one is acorn themed, and the other is boat themed), an art workshop, a splash pad, and a nicely heated infant/toddler room where babies can crawl. Parking gets full later in the day, but there is also overflow parking, and the bathrooms are stocked with community diapers for when you are stuck between a rock and hard place. It’s worth a membership if you’re relatively close, and definitely worth a visit.
