West Hillsdale Park is a modest, unassuming neighborhood playground that blends so seamlessly into the surrounding houses that the entranceway is easy to miss.
For families with babies and younger toddlers, options are slim — just a couple of ride-on toys and two toddler swings with no dedicated toddler play area. The remaining equipment skews toward older kids, though variety is limited throughout. A basketball court and a generous grassy field perfect for picnicking or dogs round out what's available.
No bathrooms on-site, so plan accordingly before you arrive — especially with little ones in tow.
What it does offer is a calm, quiet atmosphere that makes it a pleasant enough local hangout for neighborhood families. Strictly a park for those who live nearby — and even then, manage expectations.
