Persimmon Park can barely be called a park in the traditional sense — it's a small community pocket tucked amongst surrounding apartment buildings. But what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm. A thriving community garden, a generous oversized picnic table perfect for large groups, and a lovely tranquil ambiance make it a pleasant spot to pause and decompress.
For the kids, a small climbing tree structure offers minimal entertainment — enough for a brief toddler distraction but nothing more. Fortunately Paddock Park with its full playground is just around the corner, making the two a natural pairing for a relaxed neighborhood outing.
Not worth a standalone trip, but paired with Paddock Park it's a sweet little bonus stop.
