Mariners Island Park is one of those genuinely lovely surprises. Nestled between residential housing and across from office buildings, a peaceful stream running through the background, resident Canadian geese wandering alongside, and well-positioned picnic benches mean caregivers actually enjoy sitting here while kids play.
The playground itself delivers beautifully for all ages. The toddler area is designed as an adventure ship complete with sea creature ride-on toys, a playhouse, and a generous sandpit — charming and imaginative. Big kids get an impressive rock climbing wall, large slides, and a zip line that will keep them coming back repeatedly.
A sprawling grassy field makes spontaneous picnics easy, and a baseball field rounds out the amenities nicely.
A peaceful, well-rounded park that earns a dedicated visit.
