Lakeshore Park is a relaxed, beautiful neighborhood spot that earns its visit more for the surroundings than the playground itself. A lovely walkway along the bay makes it perfect for stroller walks, dog walks, or toddlers on bikes soaking in the view. The sandy beach area is a genuine bonus — simple, calm, and endlessly entertaining for little ones who just want to dig.
The pirate ship themed play structure has charm but is showing its age — a couple of slides and swings that get the job done without standing out. A well-maintained baseball field and basketball court round out the amenities nicely for older kids and adults.
A dependable neighborhood park best appreciated for its bayside setting rather than its playground.
