In terms of the park, it’s a 3. In terms of the overall vibes to get to the park, it’s a 1. The city has done a great job creating a safe space for kids and employs government workers to make sure that it stays a safe space, but the parking here is next to none and walking in to the mini park does not feel relaxing or enjoyable. SF has made a lot of changes to the Tenderloin, but it still doesn’t feel like a place that a parent would feel relaxed walking in with their kids through some pretty street activities. That being said, if you’re local - and many families are- it’s a great playground option for the neighborhood and I’m really glad that city has made effort. There are also community toys that are shared here that are in great condition.
