The only reason why we don’t frequent this garden more as locals who get it for free, is just that parking in Golden Gate park can be a tossup. However, it’s gorgeous, expansive, and the koi pond packs a punch for kiddos. There’s usually a turtle swimming around, and also plenty of fish for kiddos to delight in them showing up. There’s a little bridge over the koi pond so be prepared to spend some time by that body of water.  If you find that the SF Botanical Gardens are hosting the Rabbit Hole theater, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. They captivated all the kiddos there.

Rabbit Hole theater entertaining kids completely for about 45 minutes
