Glen Park Playground

Parent reviewed

Significant acreage for kids, birthday parties, dog owners, and a nicer than average rec center. Parking is tough.

This is a busy but huge place. Parking along the perimeter is tough so there is overspill into the residential areas. Be prepared to walk, but it feels quaint and safe.

We are here often for birthdays, as this is one of the best recs centers and enclosed playgrounds for kids. The overflow spills out onto the grass field, which is also mostly enclosed and very safe. Kids of all ages can either climb tall structures, slide down metal slides that are built into hills, or toddlers can play in the designated toddler section. The social stimulation here is great with a lot of kids of varying ages. The only part that is hard is parking, but you can park into the residential areas and once you find a spot, the walk is nice and cozy as you pass by local victorians.
