Catalpa Tot Lot is a modest little playground that knows exactly what it is — and doesn't pretend otherwise. The entire setup consists of one slide, two swings, and a single ride-on toy, set against grass that's seen better days. A basketball court across the street tries its best to compensate and improve the overall package.
This is strictly a "we live literally across the street and the toddler is losing their mind" emergency stop.
San Bruno genuinely has much better parks just a short drive away that are well worth the extra effort — but when you're desperate and it's right there, Catalpa Tot Lot has your back.
Sometimes that's enough.
