Sparqkids Redwood City Linden Park

Linden Park

Parent reviewed

Caterpillar and butterfly statues, a few climbing structures, and not much else — Linden Park is a peaceful pit stop but not worth going out of your way for.

Linden Park's signage declares itself suitable for ages five to twelve, but the actual offerings here would better suit a two to five crowd — and even then, expectations need managing. A few balance structures/raised path, a charming caterpillar statue, and a butterfly bench make up the entirety of the experience. No real play structure to speak of.

Older kids will clock the limited options within minutes and start lobbying to leave. Younger toddlers might genuinely enjoy the caterpillar for a few peaceful minutes before the same conclusion is reached.

The surrounding residential neighborhood is genuinely quiet and pleasant — it's a perfectly nice place to take a relaxing stroll, just not necessarily to play.

A brief pit stop at best — not worth a dedicated trip.
