Garrett Park is a modest, easygoing neighborhood spot that has quietly become the go-to destination for local dog owners — and honestly, the dogs are having the best time here. The grassy areas are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and the canine social scene is apparently thriving.
The playground itself is honest about its limitations — worn equipment, a few slides, climbers, and swings that cover the basics without inspiring any particular excitement. Kids will burn some energy and be ready to move on relatively quickly.
The real hidden bonus is the walking trails tucked around the back — a pleasant discovery that gives the whole outing a little more substance. No bathrooms on-site, so plan accordingly.
A neighborhood staple best appreciated for its trails and grassy charm.
