Just steps from downtown Burlingame and right in front of the community center, Washington Park is the kind of park that stops you in your tracks. The playground is genuinely one of the most impressive around — sprawling, well thought out, and designed with real intention for every age from babies to big kids.

Climbing structures here are a cut above the typical park, and the little details make it special — a musical instrument corner for sensory play, an orb carousel that kids gravitate toward immediately, and the most charming train-shaped toddler picnic tables. Large built-in shade structures keep the whole area comfortable even on sunny days.
It gets busy, but the generous size means it never feels overwhelming.

This one earns a permanent spot on the rotation.
