A genuinely lovely neighborhood park with a peaceful, safe community vibe that's hard to find. The layout covers all the bases — a dedicated toddler enclosure, newer equipment with astroturf, a big open field, and a basketball court for older kids. Restrooms and drinking water on-site make it an easy full-morning outing.
One heads-up for parents: half the toddler area is essentially one giant sandbox, so prepare for sandy everything.
Parking is limited on the street, and I'd recommend arriving early — it starts filling up around lunchtime, which says a lot about how much the community loves this place.
Picnic benches, open space, clean facilities — it checks every box. I'd happily drive out of my way to come back.
