Don't let the parking lot location fool you — Primrose Playground is a cheerful, colorful garden-themed gem. Fully enclosed, which is absolutely essential given its downtown setting, this bright little playground is perpetually buzzing with toddlers at all hours.

Sensory music panels, colorful equipment, and a fun garden theme make it genuinely engaging for the youngest visitors. Everything is scaled for toddlers, so older kids will outgrow it quickly.

It's not a destination worth crossing town for, but as a convenient downtown Burlingame pit stop — burning off toddler energy mid-errand or keeping a child busy while the other parent shops — it's absolutely perfect for exactly that purpose.

Joe and the Juice, Peets coffee, Starbucks, Mint & Honey, and top notch bakeries like Lizzie’s Backhaus, Copenhagen Bakery just a few steps away. Or, if boba is more to your liking there is also Sunright, Ume and Cere nearby.
