Cuernavaca Park has a certain charm — perched on a hilltop in a quiet residential neighborhood with a lovely view of the soccer field below. The shaded picnic area is genuinely pretty, surrounded by greenery, though with only three tables it fills up quickly.
That said, timing and age really matter here. Without any shade covering over the playground, midday visits on sunny days are genuinely uncomfortable. The equipment skews toward older kids with no dedicated toddler area, though 2 baby swings and a shaded sandbox does offer something to do for the smaller ones.
For families with young toddlers or babies, there are better options nearby worth prioritizing over this one.
A peaceful spot with potential — just visit early morning/late afternoon, and bring water. However, no bathrooms/shade/toddler play drops the rating down.
