Bayside Park itself is largely a baseball destination — multiple fields, batting cages, a dog park, and open grassy areas make it a solid spot if that's your purpose. Two bathrooms on opposite sides of the park and plentiful free parking are practical wins. TopGolf can be seen visible in the background.
But the real draw is just across the street. A stunning bay trail with unobstructed views of SFO's runway makes for a genuinely magical outing with kids who love watching planes land and take off in real time. The walking path is bike and scooter friendly with its own dedicated parking lot, although be warned it is right next to a busy street.
Not a playground destination by any stretch — but that bay trail is something special and absolutely worth the visit.
